Bio

Maxwell Tielman was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. Maxwell attributes much of his stylistic and aesthetic choices to growing up in one of America's industrial Rust Belt cities. He started photographing his friends on a cheap point-and-shoot digital camera in high school and hasn't looked back. In 2006, Maxwell moved to Brooklyn, New York where he currently resides.
